You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, working from detailed engineering drawings and ensuring every component is produced to exact customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components Working from engineering drawings, CAD data, and production documentation Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks Adjusting offsets and tooling to maintain tight tolerances Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and gauges Ensuring components meet customer quality standards and delivery requirements Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environmentWhat We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards Confident using inspection equipment A proactive approach with strong attention to detailDesirable Experience: Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak, Siemens, or similar controls 3, 4, or 5-axis milling experience Experience machining materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, or exotic alloys Engineering apprenticeship or time-served backgroundWhat’s On Offer: Variety of shift patterns available Competitive salary and overtime opportunities Paid training and career development Long-term opportunity within a specialist engineering environment The chance to work on complex, high-precision componentsIf you’re a skilled CNC Miller looking for a role where your experience is valued and there are opportunities to progress, we’d like to hear from you.
