Week 2: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday

Rotating weekly (4 days one week, 3 days the next)

About the Role

A Star Recruitment is currently recruiting LLOP Order Pickers on behalf of a leading distribution centre based in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy warehouse with ongoing work, consistent hours, and the potential for a permanent position.

Working within a fast-paced distribution environment, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders using a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) while maintaining high standards of productivity, accuracy, and safety. LLOP-based order picking is common in the large distribution centres in Ashton-in-Makerfield.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP) safely and efficiently.

Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners or voice-picking equipment.

Build stable pallets ready for dispatch.

Wrap, label and prepare completed pallets.

Carry out quality checks to ensure order accuracy.

Meet individual picking targets and productivity standards.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Follow all Health & Safety procedures and warehouse policies.

Report damaged stock or equipment to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Previous LLOP experience is beneficial, although full training may be provided for suitable candidates.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Physically fit and able to spend long periods on your feet.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Reliable, punctual and able to work the rotating shift pattern.

Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
