Legionella Risk Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of water systems to identify potential Legionella risks. You will evaluate the design, maintenance, and operational practices of water systems in various facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Key duties will include performing risk assessments, documenting findings, and recommending appropriate control measures to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing monitoring programs to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Legionella bacteria, water hygiene principles, and relevant legislation. You should have excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data related to water systems. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to prepare detailed reports and present your findings to stakeholders. A background in environmental health, microbiology, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications in Legionella risk assessment.
