Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. Your primary duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining flower beds, as well as performing general landscaping tasks. You will also be required to operate various maintenance equipment, ensuring that all tools are used safely and efficiently.

In addition to hands-on maintenance, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting any issues related to the grounds, such as pest infestations or damaged equipment. You will collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for this position. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred, along with a valid driving license. A commitment to sustainability and environmental practices is a plus.
