Business Analysts - SAP / ERP Transformation (Inside IR35)Duration: 6 Month Initial Contract (Likely Extension) Location: Leeds (Hybrid – Office and Home working)OverviewA key client of ours within the utilities sector is looking for experienced Business Analysts with SAP or ERP transformation experience to join a flagship Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation programme.Working within an established Business Analysis function, you'll take ownership of your own dedicated business workstream, partnering with operational and technical stakeholders to gather, define and deliver business requirements that support the successful delivery of enterprise-wide technology change.Transformation ProgrammeYou'll be supporting a major enterprise transformation programme involving:
SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANAAdvantex Service Suite to SAP Multi-Resource Scheduling (MRS)Legacy CRM platform to Microsoft DynamicsOdyssey mapping to the Esri platformMobile workforce solutionsDynamic FormsEnterprise systems integration
Each Business Analyst will partner with a specific business area, taking ownership of a dedicated workstream to understand existing processes, define future requirements and support the successful implementation of new technology solutions.Responsibilities
Lead Business Analysis activities across assigned transformation workstreams.Elicit, analyse and document business requirements.Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.Produce functional and non-functional requirements.Develop AS-IS and TO-BE business process models.Conduct gap analysis and support solution design.Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.Manage requirements throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring traceability from definition through to implementation.Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness activities.
Skills & ExperienceWe're particularly interested in Business Analysts who have delivered complex ERP or enterprise technology transformation programmes. To be considered, you'll ideally have:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering ERP, business systems or enterprise technology transformation programmes.Strong ERP implementation or transformation experience.SAP experience is preferred; however, candidates with experience of other ERP platforms (e.g. Oracle) are also encouraged to apply.Excellent requirements elicitation, process mapping and documentation skills.Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.The ability to translate business needs into clear, deliverable requirements.Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
Desirable
Experience within the Utilities sector (Water, Gas or Electricity), or other asset-intensive industries such as Construction, Engineering or Logistics.Experience working on large-scale SAP-enabled business transformation programmes.Experience with enterprise mapping or GIS solutions (e.g. Esri).Professional Business Analysis qualifications (e.g. BCS, Lean Six Sigma) and/or Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe, Scrum).
