About the role
Milk Education are working in partnership with an outstanding and highly inclusive primary school in Newham to appoint an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a September start. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and creative Early Years Teacher to join a thriving Early Years team that is committed to giving every child the very best start to their educational journey.
The successful Early Years Teacher will work within a well-established EYFS setting, delivering engaging and child-centred learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence and a lifelong love of learning. The school is recognised for its inclusive ethos, commitment to high standards and outstanding Early Years provision, where play-based learning and exploration are central to children’s development.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences across the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Working as an Early Years Teacher to create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting children’s development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum
- Encouraging communication, language, social and emotional development through play-based learning
- Monitoring, assessing and recording children’s progress effectively
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers to support children’s development
- Creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider Early Years team
The Ideal Candidate:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Nursery or Reception
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
- Passion for child-led learning and early childhood development
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to create engaging and imaginative learning opportunities
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Essential Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional references covering the last two years
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
