Field Engineer (Welding NDT)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Engineer specializing in Welding Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections and tests to ensure the integrity and quality of welded structures and components. You will utilize various NDT methods, including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing, to assess the quality of welds and base materials. The role requires a thorough understanding of welding processes, materials, and industry standards, as well as the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In this position, you will also collaborate closely with project managers and other engineering teams to develop inspection plans and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Regular reporting of inspection results, including documentation of any defects or non-conformances, will be essential. Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to junior staff members on NDT techniques and practices. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in diverse field environments. A valid certification in NDT methods and relevant field experience is required for this role.
