Earth Observation Specialist

We are seeking an Earth Observation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will utilize remote sensing technologies and geospatial data analysis to monitor and assess environmental changes. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative methodologies to collect, process, and analyze satellite imagery and other Earth observation data. This role requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop actionable insights for environmental management, land use planning, and disaster response.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting research to identify trends in land cover change, climate impacts, and natural resource management. You will also prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring that your analyses drive informed decision-making. The successful candidate will have experience with GIS software, remote sensing tools, and data visualization techniques, as well as a strong understanding of environmental science and policy.

To thrive in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. A degree in Earth Sciences, Environmental Studies, Geography, or a related field, along with relevant experience in Earth observation or remote sensing, is essential.
