Leicester, City of Leicester Eko Talent Job role: Baler & Compactor Engineer £60,000 Basic Salary Van - Fuel Card - Paid Travel Door 2 Door Shift: Monday - Friday - DAYS We have partnered with a leading OEM of Baler & Compactors used within recycling, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer. The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support. The main responsibilities of the Baler & Compactor Engineer will include. * Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner. * Maintaining all equipment on site - balers, compactors, conveyor systems, recycling machinery, shredders etc. * Electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding, PLC's * Installation of machinery onsite. * Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment. * Fault finding and diagnostics. * Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work. * Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis. * Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety. * Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate. * Responsible for the protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude.
