Their rebrands have preceded billion-dollar valuations, retail listings across thousands of stores, and share-price movements in the year after launch. That’s the context you’d be resourcing against. When the studio keeps its scale deliberately tight, capacity planning stops being administrative and becomes central to whether the work lands.

The Role
You’ll quickly become the single source of truth for who’s doing what, when, and at what capacity. That means owning day-to-day allocation across every live and upcoming project, matching the right person to the right work, and spotting over-allocation, conflicts and gaps before they reach delivery.

Building and maintaining a live view of studio capacity, you’ll take the lead on the weekly resource meeting with cross-functional stakeholders, and hold regular 1:1s with the client partnerships team. You’ll develop a real understanding of individual strengths across the studio, so allocation decisions build people up rather than simply fill slots. And you’d own the freelance side end-to-end: growing a reliable database, managing spend, and using scheduling and workflow analysis to drive genuine financial efficiency.

The Person
You run resourcing, studio management or operations inside a creative, design or branding agency, and you can articulate specifically what you do within resourcing – not treat it as one hat among many. 

You’ve owned a resourcing tool and process, forecast utilisation, managed freelance databases and spend, and worked shoulder-to-shoulder with creative leads and client teams. You’re mid-to-senior, and you keep a busy studio calm.
