Locum Dentist / Newark, Nottinghamshire / Full or Part Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Newark, Nottinghamshire to recruit a Locum Dentist on a temporary basis.

Vacancy Details:

• Available as soon as possible.
• Ongoing till permanent Dentist recruited.
• Option to transition into permanent role.
• Full or part-time position.
• Surgery space Mon to Thurs 9-5pm and Fri 8.15-2.15pm.
• Self employed Locum Dentist role.

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Up to £500 per day or £per UDA.
• 50% split on Private work in addition to day or UDA rate.
• Dentist will manage a predominantly NHS list.
• Day rate is linked to an agreed UDA target, with consideration for factors outside the clinician’s control such as failures to attend.
• Dentist will receive monthly pay.

Practice Overview:

• 4 surgery dental practice.
• 5 Dentists already in situ.
• Support from a very experienced Practice Manager.
• Computerised with SOE.
• Access to OPG, Wave One Rotary Endo, and Digital X-Rays
• Practice has a very high Google Review rating.

Location & Travel:

• Town centre location
• Easily commutable by car from Nottingham, Lincoln, Grantham, Mansfield, Retford, Southwell and Bingham (typically within 45 minutes).
• Short distance from Newark Castle and Newark North Gate railway stations- 10–15 minutes’ walk away.
• Direct trains from Nottingham, Lincoln, Grantham, Retford and Doncaster.
• East Midlands Airport is approximately 45 minutes away by car.
• Newark-on-Trent is a market town in Nottinghamshire.

Essential Requirements:

• GDC Registered Dentist.
• NHS Performer Number.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate.
