Retail Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Relief Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff within the retail space. Your primary duties will include monitoring premises through regular patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. You will also be tasked with observing and reporting any suspicious activities, deterring theft and vandalism, and assisting in emergency situations as they arise.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred, along with a valid SIA license. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will interact with various stakeholders, including customers, team members, and law enforcement when necessary. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays, is also required as this position demands relief coverage across multiple shifts.
