Retail Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Relief Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment by deterring theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Your primary duties will include monitoring the premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to. Additionally, you will assist in managing access control and responding promptly to any incidents or alarms, ensuring a swift resolution while minimizing disruption to store operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A strong understanding of retail security practices and procedures is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and customers. You will be required to write detailed reports on incidents and assist in investigations as necessary. Flexibility in working hours is essential as the role may involve shifts, including weekends and holidays. A valid security license and previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
