Retail Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Relief Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees within the retail setting. Key duties include monitoring premises through regular patrols, detecting and preventing theft, and ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to. You will also be tasked with responding to alarms and incidents, providing detailed reports on any suspicious activities, and collaborating closely with law enforcement when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills and a strong sense of integrity. Previous experience in security, particularly in a retail environment, is preferred but not essential. You should be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals. Flexibility in working hours is crucial, as this role may require shifts on weekends and holidays. A valid security license and first aid certification will be considered an advantage.
