Retail Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Relief Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our retail environment, monitoring premises for suspicious activity, and providing a visible security presence to deter theft and vandalism. You will assist in maintaining a safe shopping experience for customers and staff, while also conducting regular patrols of the store and monitoring CCTV systems to identify potential security risks.

Your responsibilities will include responding to incidents and emergencies, preparing detailed reports on any security breaches or anomalies, and collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary. You will also be tasked with providing training and support to staff on security protocols and best practices. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with team members and customers to address any safety concerns and promote a culture of vigilance.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid SIA license and have prior experience in security roles, preferably within a retail setting. A keen eye for detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to customer service are crucial for success in this position.
