Retail Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Relief Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe shopping environment for both customers and staff. Your primary duties will include monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. You will also be tasked with identifying and addressing any suspicious activities, reporting incidents, and collaborating with law enforcement when necessary to safeguard the property and its contents.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and a keen sense of awareness to proactively prevent theft and vandalism. You should have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members, creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining security. Previous experience in a retail security role or a related field is preferred. A valid security license and knowledge of emergency response procedures are essential. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, is also required to meet the demands of retail operations.
