Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our retail environment, protecting both customers and staff while safeguarding store assets. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any potential security risks. You will also engage with customers and staff to foster a welcoming atmosphere while remaining alert to suspicious behavior or activity.

Additionally, you will be required to respond promptly to incidents of theft, vandalism, or any emergencies that may arise. This includes writing detailed reports on security breaches and incidents, collaborating with local law enforcement when necessary, and assisting in the development of security protocols and training for staff. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with diverse groups of people daily. A high level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial for this role. Previous experience in retail security or a related field is preferred, along with a valid security license.
