About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. Your main duties will include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing restrooms. You will also be tasked with managing waste disposal, including sorting recyclables and ensuring all waste is handled in accordance with health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness and order. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a cleaning or waste management role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. A positive attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks are essential for success in this position.
