About the role
Consultant - Cardiology
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist for a locum placement at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, within the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a day shift position running from August to November 2026.
The successful candidate will provide consultant-level cardiology cover including ward rounds, outpatient clinics, diagnostic interpretation, and acute cardiac care. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the delivery of cardiology services across the trust.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Specialist registration in Cardiology on the GMC Specialist Register
- Extensive experience as a Consultant Cardiologist or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Valid DBS/AccessNI clearance
- Professional indemnity insurance
