Trade Counter Sales - Builders Merchants

Our client is a well-respected timber & builders merchant. Due to their continued success and expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity as we are recruiting a Trade Counter Sales person to join their team.  The key responsibilities of this role include: • Be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the branch • Service customers over the trade counter and over the telephone • Provide good customer service and good advice on products for their customers • Make proactive sales calls to new and existing customers  • Helping out in the yard when needed and operate and forklift truck for unloading and loading vehicles  The ideal candidate would need to have a good knowledge of building materials and have a good understanding or the construction supplies industry.  In return you will be rewarded with many lucrative benefits including; - Basic salary of up to c£35,000 (dependent on experience)  - Pension Scheme - Training Programmes - Career Progression  - Many other benefits If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity and would like to find out more, please apply to this vacancy asap.
