MK Personnel Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bedford for Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join their busy transport team.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be delivering alcohol products to customer sites across the region. This is a multi-drop role working alongside a Driver’s Mate, with manual handling involved, including the delivery of heavy kegs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Deliver orders to customers on time and in full.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks before each shift.
• Ensure compliance with Driver CPC, Tachograph and road transport regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Secure loads safely using straps and other equipment.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs accurately.
• Return empty kegs and customer returns to the depot.
• Maintain excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy.
• Work closely with the transport team and your Driver’s Mate.
• Support warehouse duties when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome.
• No more than 3 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Multi-drop driving experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 6:00am
• Finish time: Between 2:00pm and 6:00pm
• £17.50 per hour
• Temporary to Permanent opportunity
• Immediate starts available
