About the role
Job Title: EMEA Security Commissioning Engineer
Location: EMEA
Salary: £75,000
Are you an EMEA Security Commissioning Engineer looking for your next opportunity? As an EMEA Security Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and sign-off of security systems across multiple sites throughout the EMEA region, working with a broad range of clients across commercial, critical infrastructure, and enterprise environments. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Commission, test, and verify security systems including intruder detection, access control, and CCTV across EMEA sites.
* Carry out site surveys and pre-commissioning checks to ensure installations meet project specifications and client requirements.
* Diagnose and resolve technical faults during commissioning, liaising with installation teams and project managers to ensure timely handover.
* Produce and submit accurate commissioning documentation, test records, and handover certificates in line with project and client standards.
* Support and mentor junior engineers on site, providing technical guidance throughout the commissioning process.
* Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the commissioning and handover phase across regional projects.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 5 years of experience commissioning electronic security systems in a field-based or regional role.
* Proven experience with leading access control and intruder detection platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Honeywell Pro-Watch, or Bosch.
* Experience commissioning CCTV systems including IP-based platforms from manufacturers such as Milestone, Axis, or Avigilon.
* Strong understanding of IP networking principles as they apply to security system integration and commissioning.
* Full, clean driving licence.
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent security systems qualification (desirable).
* CSCS/ECS card (desirable).
