About the role
Project Health and Safety Advisor - 9 month contract - Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire - £400 per day (outside IR35 available with assessmnet) - major new-build construction projectKey responsibilities:-The Health & Safety Advisor will be capable to undertake the below -Promote and ensure continued site wide commitment to achieving consistently high standards in Health and Safety on the projectAdvise site management & site staff on Health and Safety matters.Undertake Site Visits & InspectionsConduct site Health & Safety compliance inspectionsAssist in the monitoring and review of method statements, risk assessments and work package plansInvestigate accidents and incidents to identify root causeReview company and Sub-Contractors compliance paperwork.Assist in the preparation of Health & Safety packs.Project/document administrationSupport the lead HSQE ManagerAttend Client Health and Safety meetings/forums as requiredRaise awareness on SHE and sustainability issues through toolbox talks and briefings, delivering training where necessaryQualifications/Experience:-NEBOSH Construction/general cert (minimum) NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ L5 in OHAS (desired) Relevant experience of working as part of a construction/health and safety team Relevant construction sector experience
