James Grace is currently recruiting for an experienced general operative to join a farm located near Ashby de la Zouch.

The ideal candidate must have own transport due to location of the company.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the cultivation and maintenance of crops, as well as the care of livestock. . The successful applicant will contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of our farm operations.

Duties

• Trimming and sorting
• Use of scales
• Handle full and empty trays of product
• Use safety knife for trimming product
• Label product correctly

• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including checking deliveries against orders.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Skills

• Ability to perform basic maths for inventory management and record keeping.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role

Pay & Hours:

· Pay £12.71 per hour

· x1.25 overtime paid after 8 hours.

· Immediate start

· Pay every 2 weeks

· Hours 6am-3pm
