Dispensing Optician - Melrose

As a Dispensing Optician, you will play a key role in guiding patients through their eyewear journey, combining your clinical knowledge with your passion for fashion, styling and personalised service. Working closely with the Optometrist and the wider practice team, you will ensure every patient receives expert advice and leaves with eyewear that perfectly suits their prescription, lifestyle and personal style. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an independent environment where quality, professionalism and patient satisfaction are always the priority.

• Dispensing a wide range of spectacle lenses and frames to meet individual patient needs.

• Advising patients on lens options, coatings and premium optical products.

• Providing personalised frame styling based on facial features, prescription requirements and lifestyle.

• Adjusting, fitting and repairing spectacles where required.

• Delivering an exceptional level of customer service throughout the entire patient journey.

• Building long-term relationships through outstanding care and attention to detail.

• Supporting the Optometrist with smooth clinic operations and patient care.

• Assisting with frame selection, merchandising and maintaining the boutique appearance of the practice.

• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with GOC and company standards.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a welcoming, supportive and professional environment.
