Local Authority Private Housing Standards Manager, West London 
Pay rate up to £320 per day 
Contract role, Local Government Housing  
 
We are recruiting for an experienced Local Authority Private Housing Standards Manager in West London 
Your responsibilities will include:  

• Responsible for improving housing conditions in the private rented and owner-occupied sector through carrying out the council’s duties in relation to private sector housing renewal advice, assistance and enforcement. 

• Effective monitoring and providing reports to senior officers and Elected Members on all aspects of the service, including empty properties. 

• Ensure the service fully incorporates and delivers the Council’s duties under the Renters’ Rights Act 2025, including responding effectively to new regulatory requirements, tenancy protections and strengthened enforcement powers. 

• Lead the delivery of all statutory functions arising from the Housing Act 2004, including HHSRS enforcement, licensing provisions and the full range of regulatory interventions available to local authorities. 
  To lead and managing a service that delivers a high quality, efficient and responsive Private Sector Housing service that meets the needs of residents. 

 
This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting
