Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on a project in Otley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Joiner with strong fire door experience, with 6 weeks’ work available.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and working on fire doors, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with site requirements.

Typical duties include:

• Installing and fitting fire doors.
• Adjusting and repairing existing fire doors.
• Ensuring fire doors are correctly fitted and compliant with specifications.
• Carrying out general joinery duties where required.
• Working safely and efficiently on site.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with fire doors – essential.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous experience as a Joiner.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Good attention to detail and high standard of workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Available to work 7:30am – 7:00pm.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
