Painter

Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for experienced Painters to work on a busy construction project in Otley.

This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking Painters, with 6 weeks’ work available.

The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out painting and decorating duties to a high standard.

Typical duties include:

• Preparing surfaces ready for painting.
• Applying emulsion, gloss and other paint finishes.
• Internal painting and decorating.
• Carrying out touch-ups and snagging works.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Painter on construction sites.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Available to work 7:30am – 7:00pm.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
