Warehouse Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join an established business based in Newcastle on a temporary ongoing basis.

Our client operates a busy document management and records facility, requiring a reliable and detail-oriented operative to support warehouse operations and order fulfilment.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• £13.46 per hour – paid weekly

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading boxes and moving documents to designated storage areas
• Inputting and maintaining accurate data within warehouse management systems
• Assisting with picking, packing and dispatching of orders
• Palletising completed orders and restocking shelves as required
• Coordinating with the team to prioritise and manage order fulfilment

To be considered as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Good attention to detail and accuracy with strong organisational skills
• The ability to carry out manual handling duties as part of the role
• Good computer literacy and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Please note: This role requires completion of a strict government vetting process including identity verification, financial checks, sanctions checks and reference checks. Proof of address dated within the last 3 months is required, along with a valid basic DBS certificate no more than 3 months old.
