CAD technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our team, responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers and architects to develop designs that meet project specifications and industry standards. Key responsibilities include interpreting design concepts and converting them into precise drawings, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, materials, and specifications. You will also be required to make revisions to existing drawings and maintain an organized database of all project files.

In addition to drawing creation, the CAD Technician will assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with various stakeholders to clarify design requirements and address any technical challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs is required, along with a strong understanding of construction methods and materials. A background in engineering or architecture is preferred, along with relevant certification or a degree in a related field.
