Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees within the retail space. Your primary duties will include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols of the premises, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be required to respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, documenting all occurrences accurately through reports. Collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services may also be a part of your responsibilities. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to relay information clearly to both team members and management. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent observational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in security, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred. A valid security license may be required based on local regulations.
