Export Control Product Lead

Our client, a distinguished player in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking an Export Control Product Lead to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in managing numerous export control products within the Shared Services Enterprise IT (EIT) domain. The position offers the flexibility to work from any UK office with minimal onsite requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Authorisation Service license management and Identity Management products
• Oversee the Enterprise Auditor for export control permission scans
• Handle PCE for Supplier Declarations and Titus for Metadata and Visual Marking
• Coordinate Email & Web Boundary Control activities, working closely with Security & Export Control teams
• Develop a thorough understanding of all products and manage their strategic direction
• Ensure well-documented and prioritised backlogs of change
• Collaborate with Export Control Squad Lead and Product Analyst for effective delivery of changes
• Work alongside Project Managers on larger projects to ensure successful completion

Job Requirements:

• Experience in managing agile teams and multiple products/services
• Solid understanding of export control products
• Proficiency in project and product management
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Effective leadership style focused on accountability, empowerment, and ownership
• Ability to manage a high volume of changes across both products and projects
• Experience in financial and management reporting

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Product Owner or in Product/Project management
• Qualification in ITIL
