Water Utilities Supervisor - South West Wales

Matchtech are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Utilities Supervisor to oversee multiple mains laying teams on a major water infrastructure project across South West Wales.

This role will involve managing and coordinating 8-10 operational teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. We're looking for a strong leader with a proven background in water utilities and mains installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate 8-10 mains laying crews
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with company and client procedures
• Monitor productivity, quality, and programme delivery
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
• Liaise with clients, site management, and operational teams
• Manage workforce allocation and resource planning
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA, H&S legislation, and water industry standards

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience supervising multiple utility or mains laying teams
• Strong background within the Water Utilities sector
• Valid NRSWA Supervisor Qualification
• Streetworks accreditation
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
