The school thrives because of its supportive staff, inclusive ethos, and strong community connections. Moreover, teachers and practitioners collaborate closely to deliver a creative and engaging curriculum, while the leadership team actively promotes staff development. As a result, children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore, making the school a vibrant and rewarding place to work.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the school starting in September, for the remainder of the half term, with the possibility of extension further into the academic year.
In this role, you will:

- Work alongside teachers and colleagues to deliver engaging early years provision.
- Encourage positive behaviour while helping children build confidence and social skills.
- Create a safe, stimulating environment that promotes exploration and growth.
- Contribute fully to daily routines and wider school activities.
By stepping into this position, you will actively shape children’s first experiences of education and help them build strong foundations for the future.
The Ideal Candidate

- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (preferred).
- Bring experience working with children, particularly in a nursery or early years setting.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Stay organised and manage tasks efficiently.
- Adapt creatively to meet diverse developmental needs.
- Approach challenges with positivity and resilience.
With these qualities, you will thrive in a busy early years environment and make a lasting impact on young learners.
