Zest Education is proud to be working closely with a network of supportive, welcoming primary schools across Stafford, and we are seeking ambitious Trainee Teachers who are currently awaiting QTS to join classrooms where you can make a real impact from day one.

The Opportunity

As a Trainee Teacher (Awaiting QTS), you’ll step into a paid role that bridges the gap between your training year and your ECT induction. You’ll gain hands-on experience in vibrant primary settings while receiving guidance from experienced staff who want to see you succeed.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging lessons with support from class teachers
• Leading small groups and whole-class sessions
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
• Contributing to planning, assessment, and classroom routines
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

 What We’re Looking For

• Trainee teachers currently awaiting QTS
• A genuine passion for primary education
• Strong communication and behaviour‑management potential
• A proactive, positive attitude
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
