A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced live-out nanny/housekeeper to join a professional and friendly family in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.

The family are looking for a warm, organised and proactive nanny to become a valued part of family life and provide a happy, structured and nurturing environment for their two daughters, aged four and seven.

Both girls attend the same school and are cheerful, active children who enjoy a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor activities, dance, swimming, tennis, netball and gymnastics.

They are looking for a nanny who will enjoy supporting their interests, encouraging their confidence and helping them thrive through their busy school and activity schedules.

The role will involve sole charge care of the children, supporting them after school during term time and providing full-day care during the school holidays.

The nanny will also assist with child-related housekeeping and occasional family errands to help keep the household running smoothly.

DAYS & HOURS

Salary will be paid evenly throughout the year, providing a consistent monthly income despite the variation in hours between term time and school holidays. This equates to an average of approximately 31 hours per week across the year.

During term time:

Monday to Friday, 1:00pm–6:30pm (32.5 hours per week).

During school holidays:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:30pm (55 hours per week) for approximately 6–7 weeks per year.

DUTIES

School pick-up
Driving the children to and from after-school activities and sports
Supporting with homework and reading
Preparing children’s meals and snacks
Encouraging good manners, routines and positive behaviour
Supporting with school administration, including ordering school lunches and preparing for school events
Children’s laundry
Tidying play areas and keeping children’s belongings organised
Helping with occasional local errands including shopping, dry cleaning and post office visits
Occasional babysitting

REQUIREMENTS

The family are looking for a nanny who is:

Experienced with primary school-aged children
Warm, nurturing and dependable
Organised and proactive
Energetic and genuinely enjoys working with children
A confident driver with a full, clean UK driving licence

*A car is available for use during working hours.

SALARY

£20 gross per hour
