About the role
MOJ- Huddersfield County Court
Admin Officer
Location: Queensgate House Huddersfield HD1 2RR
Hourly rate: £12.86 Day 1 Rate Increasing to £13.25 after 12 weeks
Working Days/Hours: Officer based 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9AM- 5 PM
Contract: This a temporary position for 7 months but due to be extended pending performance and business needs
Clearance: Basic DBS.
Training: on job training
Brook Street in partnership with the Ministry of justice has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin officer. This is great opportunity to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to members of the public and court users.
- Handling telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Managing and maintaining accurate records and case information.
- Processing administrative documentation and correspondence.
- Responding to enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Supporting senior colleagues with a range of administrative duties.
- Ensuring information is accurately recorded and shared internally.
- Using a variety of IT systems and databases to update and retrieve information.
- Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of court operations.
Experience Needed/desired:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Good IT and data entry skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
