About the role

Build a broad foundation in international tax by working across compliance, reporting, research and client advisory projects. This graduate opportunity offers varied work, practical responsibility and a supported route into a highly specialist profession.

The Company

Based in Central London, this independent boutique tax advisory firm has more than 35 years of experience supporting investment funds, businesses and individuals affected by US and UK tax rules. Its international client base spans over 30 countries. Graduates join a collaborative environment where technical excellence, client service and teamwork are central, with regular learning opportunities and close access to experienced tax professionals.

The Role

As a Graduate Investment Funds Tax Associate, you will gain exposure to several areas of international tax rather than being limited to one repetitive task. Working in small teams, you will contribute to live client work from the outset while developing your analytical, commercial and communication skills. Structured onboarding, weekly coaching, classroom learning, practical case studies and funded professional qualifications will help you build confidence and specialist knowledge over time.

  • Prepare tax returns and reports for investment funds and related businesses.
  • Analyse financial information to produce accurate tax calculations and investor reporting.
  • Support advisory work involving structures, investments and business transactions.
  • Research international tax rules and contribute to technical client projects.
  • Help businesses understand tax considerations when expanding into the US.
  • Develop client-facing skills while learning from experienced colleagues.

Benefits and Perks

The firm combines structured development with a sociable, supportive working environment. As well as a starting salary of £30,000, you will also get the following benefits:

  • Full study support for international tax qualifications
  • Structured technical training and weekly coaching
  • Regular team lunches and social activities
  • Fantastic pension contributions
  • Wellbeing assistance programme
  • Professional subscriptions
  • Your birthday off

Requirements

Must-Have

  • A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree or above in any subject.
  • BBB at A level, or equivalent.
  • Grade 5 or above in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Clear logical thinking, sound judgement and confidence with numbers.
  • A genuine interest in building a career in tax advisory.
  • Evidence of work experience, extracurricular involvement or self-leadership.
  • Availability to start at the end of September 2026.

Nice-to-Have

  • A relevant internship or placement, although no previous tax experience is required.
