QC Laboratory Technician

📍 Near Southampton | 💷 £17.89 per hour (PAYE) | 🕒 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Are you detail-oriented with a passion for laboratory work? We're working with a market-leading R&D organisation near Southampton who are looking for a QC Laboratory Technician to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge product and process development, supporting quality assessment and helping drive innovation.

The Role

You'll play a key part in the quality control laboratory, supporting the full product lifecycle through:

• Sample receipt, preparation, analysis and reporting
• Operating and calibrating laboratory equipment in line with SOPs and methods
• Working to Best Laboratory Practice (BLP) standards
• Assisting in the development and validation of new methods and procedures
• Supporting ongoing product and process improvement activities

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Degree qualified in a suitable Science discipline (Chemistry preferred)
• Highly detail-focused and organised
• IT literate with strong data handling skills
• A clear communicator with good time management
• Experienced in laboratory environments (GCMS experience desirable but not essential)

What's On Offer

• £17.89 per hour (PAYE)
• 35-hour working week (Monday to Friday)
• Initial contract until the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of extension based on workload
