Clancy are working on an exciting framework in Newport, South Wales, where we will be constructing several Primary Substation enhancements for SSE Energy Solutions. As result, we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to package manage the Mechanical and Electrical works on site.
Here are just some of the activities you'll be getting involved with:
- Review Design outputs
- Assist with the creation of RAMS/ITPS for related works
- Assist with material orders
- Supervise the team completing the works
- Substation earthing installation
- Supervise Panel wiring within substation control panels
- Installation and termination of secondary equipment such as commando sockets, isolators, lights, switches, sockets
- Interface with NGET, SSE DA, End Users
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:
- Bachelors or master's in electrical engineering OR similar vocational experience
- Level 3 C&G 2357 Electrical Installation
- C&G 2339-17 or equivalent
- Level 3 Power Networks Craftsperson Qualification
- ECS Gold card
- C&G 2396 Inspection and Testing (advantageous)
- 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations.
Any of the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- SSE Authorisations
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- EUSR
- IPAF 3a 3b
- PASMA
- Ladder association Inspector & User
- Gas Safe
