Job descriptionOxford City Council is looking for a talented Refugee & Resettlement Manager who has a passion for supporting refugees and other migrant groups as they look to settle in Oxford. The City Council is committed to providing support to those forced to flee their homes including from government backed schemes such as Homes for Ukraine Scheme, UKRS (United Kingdom resettlement scheme), Afghan Resettlement Programme (ARP) and the Community Sponsorship programme.
The role is integral is supporting the delivery of the Council of Sanctuary Framework which aims to support settlement and community cohesion in Oxford and by doing so making Oxford a more welcoming city for all residents. The successful candidate will work with senior leaders to implement a strategic and operational response to refugee resettlement and wider migration issues which will include both emerging priorities and new policy developments in this area.
