Salary: £40,083 - £44,414 per annum inclusive of all allowances
Contractual Hours: 37.25 hours per week
Hours of Work/Work Pattern: 08:00am – 16:30pm with 45 min lunch (Monday to Wednesday inclusive), 08:00am – 16:00pm with 45 min lunch (Thursday), 08:00am – 15.30pm with 45 min lunch (Friday)
Basis: Permanent

Summary of Terms and Conditions of Employment__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Environment Department is responsible for the delivery of a range of services associated with facilitating works on its highway, service subway network and sewer system within the City of London.
Working in the Contract Management and Drainage Service Group you will be expected to undertake duties including assisting with surveys, putting road closures in place and completing confined space entry work while at the same time ensuring that the activities of the group are completed with minimal disruption to both the highway and members of the public. You will have good communication skills, and be able to work on both your own initiative and within a team environment.
Local government package of conditions and benefits apply to this appointment. Starting salary will be based on qualifications, knowledge and experience.
If this role is advertised as a secondment, secondments are subject to the agreement of your department releasing you, therefore, you need to discuss this with your line manager prior to applying. The purpose of this will be to discuss what, if any, impact your secondment might have on the service and service delivery should your application be successful, and how this might be addressed.
