Custody Nurse or Paramedic

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team in providing critical healthcare services in a custody environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality medical care to individuals in custody, ensuring their health and well-being during their time with us. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough health assessments, administering medications and treatments, and providing immediate care in emergency situations. You will also be tasked with documenting medical histories, creating care plans, and collaborating with law enforcement and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid nursing or paramedic license and have a solid background in emergency medicine, trauma care, or similar fields. Experience in a corrections or custody setting is highly desirable, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity.
