Location: Perceval House, currently a minimum of 2 days per week (this is subject to change)

The post will be central to providing a joined-up analytical service to social care, corporate performance other Council departments and statutory organisations. In the post of Data and Systems Officer, you will be responsible for developing outstanding performance reports and analysis that will contribute to shaping decisions and solutions to the challenges in adult social care. This will support our CQC assessment, statutory returns and our continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in supporting us to achieve our vision.

We are looking for someone to work closely with Operational Data Lead and the Adult Social Care Teams, who will understand their data needs to deliver consistent reports and insights. Your responsibilities will include collaboration with ICT, operational teams. You will be familiar with benchmarking analysis and with giving presentations to audiences of all levels.

We are interested in hearing from applicants with experience in producing accurate and timely Adult Social Care statutory returns and surveys (SALT, CLD, SACE, etc.). You should have experience in compiling cyclical reports such as operational reports and be accustomed to supporting data quality activities. Proficiency in using Power BI, Business Objects, and MS applications is desirable additionally familiarity with MOSAIC is desirable.

Furthermore, you will provide first-level system administration for the main customer index database, assist in resolving customer requests, system or project issues, and take ownership of these requests or issues, progressing them through to resolution in a timely and professional manner.

An eye for detail is essential as you collect, check and produce complex data for Adult Services. Your ability to develop and communicate constructive insights with confidence to senior management is crucial in supporting Adult Services to achieve great outcomes in meeting the needs of our community.
