Production Planner

Our client BAE Systems, a specialist in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking two Production Planners to join their team in Portsmouth. This role is offered on a 10-month contract basis, working full-time onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to manage materials and inventory
• Analysing and reporting on production performance and efficiency

Job Requirements:

• Experience in production planning, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
• Proficiency in relevant production planning software
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Portsmouth
