About the role

Job summary

We are looking for a Communications Office Coordinator to join the central Communications Office in the House of Commons, supporting our work across all functions, with a particular focus on internal communications.

Job description

This is an important role that helps ensure the smooth running of the team, the effective delivery of our communications across the organisation, and our ability to provide excellent customer service to a wide range of stakeholders, including MPs, their staff, and parliamentary staff.If you are a team player who is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels, has excellent attention to detail and strong communication and organisational skills, and consistently delivers work to a high standard, we want to hear from you.This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office. Person specification

  • Experience working in a communications role, supporting communication activities and creating engaging content.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and approach to suit different audiences.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues, while upholding the values of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service.
