Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor based in Leeds, you will take ownership of diverse and high-value projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering exceptional service to clients. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering a wide range of building surveying services to a high standard.
Managing and leading projects, including coordination of in-house design services.
Building strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Undertaking technical reviews to ensure service quality and consistency.
Supporting the development of junior team members, including APC candidates.
Contributing to business growth through proactive client engagement and service delivery.
Person
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a Senior Building Surveyor in a consultancy environment and demonstrate strong leadership skills. You'll be proactive, client-focused, and able to inspire confidence in your team and clients alike.
Essential requirements:
MRICS qualified with proven experience in Building Surveying.
A track record of delivering projects across multiple sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Excel.
Ambitious and driven, with a clear focus on professional growth and career progression.
All-round technical knowledge of building surveying processes and regulations.
Desirable:
Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
Demonstrable business development or client management experience.
