Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of major projects across multi-room, industrial, and commercial sectors. Working as part of a collaborative Commercial team, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely commercial reports.
Provide key support to the Contracts Managers and Operational Teams.
Manage subcontractor procurement, ensuring packages align with project requirements.
Process payment applications, meeting cash flow targets and financial objectives.
Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Person

The ideal candidate will be based North of Birmingham and have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a regional or established contractor environment, demonstrating a strong track record in delivering varied projects.

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a comparable qualification.
Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
Experience with Design & Build schemes, ideally on large, complex projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
