​Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly reputable, multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, owner-managed practice, delivering high quality consultancy services to valued clients.

Please note that Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Assistant Cost Managers and Assistant Cost Consultants will also be considered for the Quantity Surveyor job!

Role

My client is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Construction Consultancy based in Manchester due to continued growth and business development. You will be involved in working across a wide variety of large, exciting projects across both public and private sectors.

Ideally, the Quantity Surveyor will have prior Quantity Surveying experience within a Construction Consultancy setting – delivering and providing commercial responsibilities across a project’s life cycle.

Responsibilities

Possessing previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor based in Manchester, you will be responsible for reporting directly into and supporting the Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects. The Quantity Surveyor will also be able to demonstrate the following on a day-to-day basis:

Cost planning
Cost management
Value engineering
Tender management
Financial reporting
Budget management
Employers agent
Valuations
Person
