Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative, high-quality Year 6 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

  • SATS Preparation: Guide pupils through their final primary year, boosting confidence and academic attainment ahead of secondary transition.

  • Classroom Management: Establish high standards of behaviour and foster a positive, engaging learning environment.

  • Inclusion: Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEND).

  • Environment: Create interactive, stimulating classroom displays to inspire learning.


Candidate Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a recognised teaching degree (PGCE / B.Ed).

  • Experience: Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience preferred).

  • Compliance: An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • References: Ability to provide 2 recent, professional teaching references.

  • Right to Work: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role).
